Castile soap recipes
Our castile soap is an amazing multi purpose cleaner. One bottle will last you a long time and can be used for many different cleaning needs making it great value for money. Being 100% coconut oil this makes for an effective lather than cleans in many different applications. Add 1/2 teaspoon of our castile soap to a sink of cold water, add all the produce you wish to clean and let soak for 1/2 hour. Rinse and dry well. Store as normal.
FOAMING HAND SOAP 250ml
Into a foaming dispenser add 2 tablespoons castile soap and 2 tablespoons vegetable glycerine (available at most pharmacy's) add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Top up with distilled water.
Mix 1 cup of baking soda with 4 tablespoons of castile soap in bowl, add 10 drops essential oil (optional). Mix well to form a paste. Use on any surface you would Jif, great for the kitchen sink, bathtub, walls etc, works amazing well. Store in an airtight jar.
APHID SPRAY 500ml
Into a spray bottle add 1 tablespoon castile soap and 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Top up with water. Shake to combine. Spray directly onto any soft bodied unwanted garden pest.
MULTI PURPOSE SPRAY 500ml
Into a spray bottle add 1 tablespoon castile soap add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil. Top up with water, gently shake to disperse oils before use.
MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANER
Use undiluted onto dirty brushes, swirl in palm or small bowl. Rinse clean, leave to air dry.
WALL AND FLOOR CLEANER
Add 2 tablespoons to a bucket of warm water. Clean as usual. Works great on kitchen grease, use a stronger solution and a sisal dish pad if build up is hard to move.
